Transformation

"Transformation"

Shiny tomatoes,
Pert and prime,
Towered above a broken basket.
Crimson spheres of pride.
"Do you miss us?" they asked.
"Of course" replied the backyard,
Faintly. Tearfully.
Across the kidnapper's fences.

Water particles,
Rested. Awaiting.
In chubby red cheeks.
"Will you return?"
They begged the sea above,
That once harboured
million misty islands.
....
Silence
....

A silver knife,
Pierced through delicate skins,
Unleashed water particles.
 A gush penetrated her lips,
Rejoining the stream of life,
Down the cliff of consciousness,
Sank
To the bottom
Of
Her
Heart.

The transformation has begun.
